Role Objective

The Culinary Service Associate is responsible for supporting the department's operations, ensuring safe food practices while catering to customer needs and complying with company policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service.
  • Welcome all customers warmly.
  • Recommend products to customers.
  • Safely and efficiently operate all food service machinery in accordance with company guidelines.
  • Maintain a clean and hygienic workspace, following the cleaning schedule for the department, including floors, walls, preparation areas, and equipment.
  • Ensure proper sanitation in line with Kwik Fill standards, health regulations, and other governing bodies.
  • Report any customer complaints, safety issues, or policy violations to management.
  • Adhere to all security and safety protocols.
  • Present a tidy and professional appearance by following the company dress code, including wearing aprons, hats or visors, gloves, name tags, and hair restraints for long hair.
  • Cover facial hair exceeding 1⁄2 inch in length.
  • Follow product levels and build-ups to optimize sales while meeting company standards.
  • Ensure all products are labeled, rotated, and marked with the correct date, time, and initials (for cold foods, hot foods, roller grill items, cooler, and freezer products).
  • Remove outdated or expired products for accurate waste recording and disposal.
  • Comply with all company policies outlined in the policy and food service manuals.
  • Responsible for logging temperature checks every four hours during operational hours.
  • Stay updated on new food service initiatives.
  • Uphold an image that positively reflects Kwik Fill's reputation.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Store Manager or District Manager.
