Role Summary

The CDL Driver at Select Water Solutions is tasked with the safe operation of trucks with a minimum Gross Vehicle Weight of 26,000 pounds. This role involves preparing loads for delivery, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and managing the loading and unloading of oilfield equipment while ensuring adherence to quality control and safety protocols throughout the operational process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Transport equipment to various customer sites using medium-duty flatbed trucks and semi-tractors.
  • Conduct load-outs of equipment at the facility.
  • Engage in repetitive heavy lifting as required.
  • Set up and dismantle equipment, unloading and positioning it at job sites.
  • Possess Class A CDL driving experience, with a preference for flatbed driving experience.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in securing loads, ensuring trailers are loaded according to weight, width, and height regulations.
  • Navigate lease roads safely.
  • Maintain a DOT electronic log and paper Bill of Lading documentation.
  • Oversee vehicle maintenance for all Well Testing company trucks.
  • Ensure trucks are compliant with current inspection standards.
  • Adhere to all D.O.T. regulations.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Possess a valid driver's license and meet company vehicle driving eligibility as per Select's insurance criteria.
  • Experience in the energy services sector is advantageous.
  • Demonstrate strong teamwork capabilities.
  • Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong interpersonal abilities.
