Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
  • Monitor and document patient condition, including vital signs, medications, and treatment outcomes.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by physicians and in accordance with established protocols.
  • Conduct patient assessments, including pain levels, and develop plans to address identified needs.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and achieve desired outcomes.
  • Provide education and support to patients and families, addressing cultural and special concerns.
  • Document patient care and outcomes in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to enhance clinical expertise.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing with a BSN preferred.
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) are required.
  • One year of acute care experience in a hospital setting is preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
