Job Description:
-•Conduct asset criticality evaluations to determine which assets require examination for Risk-Based Inspection.

  • Hands-on experience with Corrosion loop development and preparation of Inspection drawings including CMLs and TMLs.
  • Proficient in ASME design standards for fixed equipment along with API-510, 570, 580, and 581 inspection standards.
  • In-depth understanding of NDT techniques and their applicability.
  • Expertise in damage mechanisms and their relevance to assets/components considering metallurgy and processes.
  • Skilled in developing Corrosion Control Documents in accordance with API RP 970.
  • Familiarity with various Integrity data management systems such as PCMS, Meridium, Capestone, Visions, and UltraPIPE.
  • Responsible for all corrosion-related data and deliverables, including Corrosion Systems, Circuitization, API RBI, Risk Review, and Inspection Planning.
  • Facilitate Corrosion Review, Risk Review, and Inspection Planning Review sessions with clients.
  • Hands-on experience with both backend and frontend of PCMS - Asset Integrity Module.
  • Pre-review all deliverables to ensure that corrosion processes and principles align with client standards and best practices.
  • Provide mentorship to team members to ensure that corrosion risks, damage mechanisms, and safety considerations are integrated into all activities.
  • Accountable for collecting and verifying all process-related data used in Risk Results to ensure accuracy and currency.
  • Ensure that the assigned damage mechanisms provided by the Corrosion Subject Matter Expert are accurately applied in the RBI calculator.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 8-12 years of experience in a refinery setting as a corrosion engineer, preferably with an owner-operator company.
  • Strong understanding of Corrosion Under Insulation (CUI) and NDE techniques and applications (UT, RT, PT, AUT, PAUT, RTR).
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in reviewing and interpreting job/project packages, including P&IDs, equipment drawings, and engineering drawings.
