Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Formulate and execute a detailed business development strategy tailored to national and military intelligence clients. Regularly update Account Plans to reflect evolving objectives.
  2. Seek and capitalize on new business prospects, including prime contracts, subcontracts, IDIQs, and associated task orders, aligning with company goals and capabilities to drive Clarity's growth.
  3. Identify and pursue strategic opportunities, leading the capture process from initial identification through proposal submission, ensuring alignment with client needs and objectives.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including subject matter experts in Systems, Data, and Cyber, along with the Proposal Operations Team and Capture Managers, to craft innovative solutions that meet client demands and set our offerings apart.
  5. Stay abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and competitive factors to inform business development strategies and decision-making processes.
  6. Represent Clarity Innovations at industry events, conferences, and meetings to enhance brand visibility and establish new connections.
  7. Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to business development team members, portfolio and program managers, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  8. Maintain up to 25% billable hours on a contract monthly within the customer community, when feasible, serving as a technical Subject Matter Expert.
Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree and/or a minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, capture, program management, or related roles within the government contracting sector, focusing on the Intelligence Community.
  2. Demonstrated success in identifying, pursuing, and securing government contracts and task orders.
  3. Strong network of contacts within the Intelligence Community, including government civilians, military personnel, prime contractors, and industry partners.
  4. In-depth understanding of the federal acquisition process and specific processes within Intelligence Community agencies, including familiarity with contract vehicles and acquisition trends.
  5. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence senior-level stakeholders.
  6. Strategic thinker capable of analyzing market dynamics, developing account strategies, identifying opportunities, and supporting the proposal development process to drive business growth for Clarity.
  7. Ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and lead cross-functional teams toward shared objectives.
  8. Active Top Secret security clearance required, with current SCI eligibility.
Desired Qualifications:
  1. Master's degree and/or a minimum of 10 years of experience in business development, capture, program management, or related roles within the government contracting sector, with a focus on the Intelligence Community. Previous military and/or Intelligence Community civilian experience is highly preferred.
  2. Proven success in identifying, pursuing, and winning large-scale government contracts and task orders exceeding $100M.
  3. Domain expertise in one of Clarity's core competencies: Data, Systems, or Cyber.
  4. Active Top Secret security clearance required, with current SCI eligibility. ISA or ISSA certification is highly preferred.
