ROLE SUMMARY

The Valet is tasked with the essential duty of parking and retrieving vehicles for our esteemed guests. This role involves operating customer vehicles while adhering to all traffic regulations, facility guidelines, and pedestrian safety protocols. A key aspect of this position is to engage with customers in a warm and professional manner, ensuring prompt and efficient service.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Deliver outstanding customer service to guests, addressing inquiries with courtesy and professionalism.
  • Promptly report any incidents or claims to the General Manager or Assistant General Manager.
  • Communicate effectively, showcasing excellent customer service skills to residents, guests, vendors, and fellow staff members.
  • Identify and understand the needs and preferences of residents, providing answers and solutions to their questions.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to enhance existing services or propose new offerings based on resident feedback and observations.
  • Uphold resident and guest confidentiality, safeguarding the organization’s reputation by maintaining discretion.
  • Ensure a safe and secure environment for all residents, guests, and staff by adhering to established safety protocols and promptly reporting any hazardous conditions or equipment issues to management.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUCCESS

  • Ability to establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with passengers, colleagues, supervisors, and management.
  • Adherence to all safety, security, compliance, and procedural standards set forth by the company, clients, and regulatory bodies.
  • Physical capability to lift weights ranging from 30 to 50 pounds.
  • Prompt response to emergencies is essential.
  • Ability to detect auditory and/or visual emergency signals and respond swiftly and appropriately.
