Key Highlights:
- Employment through ECU Health Physicians - Community Practice Model
- Hospital privileges at ECU Health Duplin Hospital

- Diverse case variety, including both inpatient and outpatient
- Monday to Friday schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM - 2 weeks on/1 week off, allowing for 17 weeks off annually

- Surgical cases encompass general surgery, orthopedic surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, and endoscopies
- Average surgical cases per month: 165
- Proficiency in placing labor epidurals, spinals/ITN in obese patients, and comfort with pediatric patients is essential
- BLS, ACLS, & PALS Certifications are mandatory
- Ability to provide anesthesia both collaboratively and independently
- Utilization of Integrated Electronic Health Record (EPIC)
- Salaried position with sign-on bonus and relocation assistance
- Close proximity to a major city and recreational areas
ECU Health Duplin Hospital is an 81-bed facility that provides a comprehensive range of medical and surgical services. The recently renovated 15-bed emergency department caters to approximately 27,000 patients annually.
In addition to general medical and surgical services, ECU Health Duplin offers chemotherapy and other cancer infusion treatments, and has received national recognition as a Primary Stroke Center.
