PICU Registered Nurse Job Opportunity

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a skilled PICU Registered Nurse for a travel nursing assignment in Madera, California.

Job Details
  • Shift: 12 hours, nights
  • Employment Type: Travel

We are looking for a qualified PICU Registered Nurse with 18 months of recent experience in an Acute Care NICU setting. The ideal candidate will have a degree from an accredited nursing program and meet the requirements determined by our client facility.

The Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) is a high-tech children's services area for critically ill, medically complex, and/or post-surgical patients. As a PICU Registered Nurse, you will collaborate with families, physicians, and other healthcare officials to determine the best course of patient care and recovery.

You will provide care for children and adolescents, usually up to the age of 18, with life-threatening or high-acuity conditions that require constant monitoring. Your priority will be careful monitoring of patients, and you will report regularly to the pediatrician, and family on the patient's condition, and what they can expect in recovery.
