Overview: Soliant Health is seeking a qualified and experienced Retail Pharmacist to manage a temporary contract role at one of our esteemed community health partners. This role is ideal for a skilled pharmacist ready to take charge of daily pharmacy operations and lead a dedicated team.
Contract Duration: 8-12 weeks, with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent position based on performance.
Type: Travel / Local
Setting: Community Health Center / Retail
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday, 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations of the retail pharmacy, including opening and closing procedures.
- Supervise and mentor a team of pharmacy technicians.
- Ensure the accurate and efficient dispensing of medications, handling a significant volume of prescriptions daily.
- Assume the role of Interim Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC), with the option to begin as a Staff Pharmacist to evaluate the pharmacy and team.
- Utilize the Rx30 software system for effective pharmacy management.
- Apply knowledge of the 340B Drug Pricing Program, if applicable.
Qualifications:
- Valid Arkansas Pharmacist License in good standing.
- Demonstrated experience in managing retail pharmacy operations.
- Proven ability to lead and supervise pharmacy technicians.
- Experience with the 340B program is advantageous.
- Willingness to accept the PIC role, with flexibility to start as a Staff Pharmacist if necessary.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
