Key Responsibilities
  • Promote dental health by completing dental prophylaxis, providing oral cancer screening, and radiographic studies.
  • Prepare patients for dental hygiene treatment by welcoming, seating, and draping them.
  • Provide information to patients and employees by answering questions and requests.
  • Maintain instrumentation for dental hygiene treatment by sharpening, sterilizing, and selecting instruments.
  • Select materials and equipment for dental hygiene visits by evaluating patients' oral health.
Requirements
  • Active dental hygiene license in NJ.
  • Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
  • Understanding of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality.
  • Excellent communication skills to educate patients on oral health care practice.
