Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Forest Park Nursing & Rehabilitation. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, promoting a culture of trust, compassion, and strong communication.

Responsibilities
  • Administer quality nursing care to residents, including making rounds, administering medications, and providing personal care.
  • Verify resident identification before administering care or serving food to ensure accurate care is provided.
  • Report missing ID bands to the admission coordinator immediately.
  • Perform various tasks such as making beds, cleaning bedside tables, and ensuring water pitchers are clean and filled.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care to residents.
Requirements
  • Licensed as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
  • A minimum of 6 months experience as a certified nursing assistant or clinical experience while enrolled in a nursing assistant certification class.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak the English language.
  • Possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, and the general public.
  • Willingness to work harmoniously with other personnel.
