Job Overview

Position: Industrial Electrician

  • Hourly Rate: $28-$35

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform installation, calibration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical and instrumentation systems.
  • Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, conveying systems, apparatus, and fixtures.
  • Diagnose issues in malfunctioning systems and components, including conveyors and electrical/mechanical systems.
  • Connect wiring to circuit breakers, transformers, and other essential components.
  • Conduct inspections of electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and necessary adjustments or repairs, ensuring compliance with safety codes.
  • Test electrical systems and assess continuity of circuits in wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
  • Utilize problem-solving skills and creativity to enhance equipment performance.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in industrial maintenance.
  • Experience with heavy industrial rolling equipment maintenance (e.g., front-end loaders, dozers, cranes) and/or conveyor systems.
  • At least 1 year of experience in electronics.
  • Background in mechanical engineering is preferred.
