As the Trade Coordinator for Zutek, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless coordination of skilled personnel for our projects. You will be responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and managing electricians and trades workers. The Trade Coordinator will ensure that our teams are adequately staffed and possess the necessary skills to meet project requirements. The successful candidate will have a strong background in trade management, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to foster positive working relationships with both internal teams and external contractors.

Requirements:

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain a network of reliable contractors and subcontractors
  • Cross-project resource management
  • Identifying and addressing problems and risks
  • Maintain efficient and effective process documentation
  • Issue PO’s to vendors and approve work performed
  • Work within our CRM program, opening and closing calls, attaching necessary documents
  • Work closely with project managers to understand staffing needs and project timelines.
  • Coordinate the deployment of electricians and trades workers to project sites based on skill sets, certifications, and project requirements.
  • Documentation management and ability to use project management tools

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Capable of maintaining strong relationships·
  • Strong organizational skills·
  • Ability to multi-task efficiently and effectively
  • Ability to remain composed under pressure and maintain strong attention to detail
  • Technical aptitude for construction services such as electrical and concrete
  • CRM knowledge and use of a ticketing/field service software platform
  • Effective time management skills


Pay and Benefits

  • Salary: From $50,000 dependent on experience

Education and Experience:·

  • Associate’s Degree
  • Minimum Five (5) years of related experience within the trades industry
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, construction processes, and trade-specific requirements.
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations, safety standards, and certification processes.


Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer.
  • Intermittent periods of walking, standing, crouching, or bending may occur
  • Travel to and from client installations will be required at times
  • Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds
