About the Role

The Department of Radiology at VCU Health is renowned for its commitment to providing top-tier care and advancing medical education. As a Pediatric Radiologist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality sub-specialized imaging interpretations for assigned modalities, supporting referring physicians and patients of the VCUHS. Your expertise in pediatric radiology will be invaluable in enhancing patient outcomes and contributing to the department's mission.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teaching: Provide training to medical students, residents, and fellows who rotate through the Department of Radiology.
  • Research: Collaborate with pediatric subspecialties to foster interdisciplinary research and promote professional growth.
  • Service: Devote time and effort to academic service-related activities, including School of Medicine, VCU Health, and departmental committee work.
  • Clinical: Deliver high-quality sub-specialized imaging interpretations for assigned modalities, including conventional radiographs, CT, MR, US, and fluoroscopy.
Requirements
  • American Board of Radiology certification or documentation of passing core component examination.
  • Pediatric Radiology fellowship training or equivalent experience.
  • Current license to practice medicine in Virginia or eligibility for licensure.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a diverse environment or commitment to fostering diversity as a faculty member at VCU.
  • Eligibility for permanent employment in the USA.
About the Salary

The estimated annual salary for this position is $**220,000-$300,000**, depending on qualifications and experience. Employees working with VCUHealth must comply with relevant health system policies and procedures, including vaccination requirements.
