Maintenance Team Lead

We are seeking a skilled and people-focused Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Axis Residential, LLC. As the ideal candidate, you will be responsible for ensuring the community is in good working condition and meets company standards.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and motivate a high-performing maintenance team to achieve community-specific maintenance goals.
- Maintain a community culture focused on enhancing residents' quality of life while providing excellent customer service and a supportive home environment.
- Build strong relationships with residents through effective communication and issue resolution.
- Develop and implement a preventative maintenance schedule to ensure the most economical and safe condition of the property.
- Perform maintenance and repairs of property facilities, common areas, and units in a timely and professional manner consistent with company standards.
- Coordinate, schedule, and respond to all service requests and work orders in a timely manner.
- Establish and supervise activity schedules of all maintenance associates within the community.
- Conduct daily inspections of the building, common areas, and grounds to ensure safety and detect maintenance problems.
- Maintain the grounds, including outdoor common areas and dog parks, free of trash and debris.
- Clear walkways and ADA areas of snow, ice, and other safety hazards.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in residential property management or a related field.
- Proven track record of leading high-performing teams and achieving maintenance goals.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and insured, operable vehicle.
- Competitive salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per year, based on experience.
