Nuclear Medicine Technologist Job Description

PennState Health is seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join their team in Enola, Pennsylvania.

Job Summary:
Prepare, administer, and measure radioactive isotopes in therapeutic, diagnostic, and tracer studies using a variety of radioisotope equipment. Prepare stock solutions of radioactive materials and calculate doses to be administered by radiologists. Subject patients to radiation. Execute blood volume, red cell survival, and fat absorption studies following standard laboratory techniques.

Requirements:
Must be registered or registry eligible by the Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification Board (NMTCB) or registered the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Nuclear (ARRT)(N) and registered or registry eligible in Nuclear Medicine. Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
