Computed Tomography Technologist Position

Job Summary:

Under the general supervision of the Radiologist, performs computed tomography (CT) procedures to acquire digital images for use by physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of disease.

Responsibilities:

  • Acquires digital images using computed tomography equipment
  • Operates CT scanners to produce high-quality images
  • Ensures patient safety and comfort during procedures
  • Collaborates with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to achieve accurate diagnoses

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or Society of Nuclear Medicine Technologist (SNMT)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certified

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Registered Technologist by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Computed Tomography
  • Two years of experience as a Registered Computed Tomography Technologist
  • Experience in Trauma/Cardiac imaging
  • Venipuncture competent
