About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Design Engineer to join our team in New York City. As an Electrical Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and developing electrical systems for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform engineering calculations, including load calculations, equipment selection, energy analysis, psychrometrics, controls, fixture loading, pressure loss, and duct sizing.
  • Manage time and budget effectively to ensure project deliverables and schedules are met.
  • Utilize AutoCAD and Revit to produce high-quality drawings.
  • Calculate power and lighting loads for both new and existing building systems.
  • Review and analyze local and national codes to ensure compliance.
  • Design life safety systems, including fire alarms.
  • Select and design layouts for electrical equipment such as switchgear, transformers, electrical panels, emergency generators, UPS systems, and power distribution systems.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • 5-8 years of experience in electrical design for building systems, including power distribution, lighting, and electrical panels.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD MEP and Revit.
  • Experience with load calculations and managing small to medium-sized projects.
