Job Title: Program Design and Forecast Analyst

About the Role

We're seeking a skilled professional to join our Program Design and Forecast team. As a key member of this team, you'll design programs that maximize customer savings, using forecasting models, our foundation of knowledge, and your own creativity and strategic thinking.

Responsibilities
  • Design and Experimentation: Develop experiments and models to measure the impact of Opower programs on energy usage and related outcomes.
  • Communication Mastery: Articulate Opower's program designs, forecasting insights, and product benefits to diverse internal and external stakeholders, bridging technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Collaborative Innovation: Partner closely with cross-functional teams-including data science, regulatory, engineering, and account management-to enhance program design and forecasting capabilities.
  • Global Influence: Contribute to our mission of providing clean, affordable energy access worldwide through a workplace that champions diversity and inclusion.
About You

  • Analytical Acumen: Whether through academic or industry experience, you excel in modeling and using statistical tools to drive insights and decisions.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Excel is a must, with additional skills in SQL and/or Python considered advantageous.
  • Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in statistics, mathematics, economics, sciences, engineering, business, or a related field is required; a Master's degree or higher is a plus.
