We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our team at EverVet Partners. As a critical member of our veterinary care team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional service and top-quality care to our clients and their pets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist veterinarians in medical and surgical procedures, ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.
  • Support the preparation and administration of medications, treatments, and laboratory tests.
  • Conduct thorough patient exams, including restraint, vital sign collection, and medical record updates.
  • Operate radiology equipment, take digital photos, and record results in patient medical records.
  • Manage laboratory specimens, administer SQ fluids, and place IV and urinary catheters under veterinary supervision.
  • Administer anesthesia, surgical, and dental treatments under the direction of a veterinarian.
  • Take high-quality digital radiographs and complete relevant medical records entries for patients.
  • Ensure patient comfort, feeding, watering, and cleanliness, as well as bathe animals as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate and timely logs for controlled drugs, setup medications, and assist with inventory management.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma, GED, or suitable equivalent.
  • Associate's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Veterinary Assistant Certification preferred.
  • At least one to two years' experience preferred.
  • Experience handling a variety of animals.
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and basic math and writing skills.
  • Advanced understanding of diseases, medications, and anesthesia.
  • Knowledge of computer software, including Infinity and Office programs.
