Position Overview
The Accountant will oversee financial operations for a portfolio of around 15 properties, ensuring accurate financial reporting for the assets.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and distribute monthly financial statements and bank reconciliations in alignment with owner requirements while adhering to established policies and maintaining robust internal controls.
- Conduct cash management activities, initiate and record journal entries, and troubleshoot any financial discrepancies.
- Analyze expenditures and create accruals based on budgetary guidelines.
- Review accounts payable transactions and cash balances, selecting invoices for payment.
- Perform monthly general ledger account analyses and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Prepare audit-related documentation and undertake additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s and/or Master’s Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, quantitative, and analytical abilities.
- Comprehensive understanding of financial principles.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proven organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
