Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Soar Autism Center. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality, individualized care to children with autism and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement naturalistic occupational therapy plans for young children with autism, ages 2-6 years old, in a center-based setting.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including ABA, speech, and psychology specialists, to create comprehensive treatment plans and conduct co-treatments.
  • Coach and mentor a team of Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to effectively translate occupational therapy goals into their therapy sessions.
  • Monitor client progress, update treatment plans, and communicate needed changes to team members and families.
  • Partner with client families to develop goals, build relationships, and communicate progress.
Requirements
  • Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current license to practice occupational therapy.
  • Preference for 3+ years of experience, but open to new Occupational Therapists starting their career.
  • Ability to connect and engage with young children, embodying a playful spirit.
  • Clear professional communication, both verbally and in writing.
