At Kyocera, we are seeking a highly skilled Staff Accountant 1 to join our team. As a Staff Accountant 1, you will be responsible for processing high volumes of vendor invoices, assisting with proper accounting coding, and researching and reconciling vendor accounts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process high volume of vendor invoices daily
  • Assist other employees with proper accounting coding for invoices
  • Research and reconcile vendor accounts
  • Take part of weekly payment runs
  • Process and book employee expense reports and produce reports for payroll department for reimbursement
  • Record reclass and accrual by journal entries as needed
  • Issue 1099 reporting every year
Requirements:
  • Associate degree in accounting, business administration, or a related field preferred or an equivalent of education and experience
  • 1 to 3 year of accounting experience, preferably in Accounts Payable
  • Basic knowledge of the accounting function required
Working Conditions:

The Staff Accountant 1 will work in a moderate noise level environment and will be required to sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; frequently required to reach with hands and arms, talk or hear; and occasionally required to stand, walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
