Overview

We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Permanent Pain Management Nurse Practitioner to enhance our healthcare team. This part-time position focuses on delivering exceptional patient care in an outpatient environment, specifically targeting chronic pain management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough clinical evaluations for patients experiencing chronic pain.
  • Design and execute tailored pain management strategies in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Safely administer and oversee medication regimens, adhering to all relevant legal and ethical standards.
  • Provide education to patients and their families regarding pain management techniques, including medication protocols and lifestyle changes.
  • Work in partnership with physicians, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain precise and timely records of patient interactions, treatments, and results.
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in pain management practices and incorporate new knowledge into patient care.
  • Engage in continuous quality improvement efforts to enhance patient outcomes.

Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
  • Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of practice.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in an outpatient setting.
  • Preferred board certification in Pain Management Nursing.
  • Strong clinical acumen with a comprehensive understanding of chronic pain conditions.
  • Expertise in administering pain management therapies and medications.
  • Exceptional communication skills, capable of effectively educating patients and their families.
  • Proven ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Commitment to patient-centered care and improving the quality of life for individuals with chronic pain.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records and healthcare IT systems.
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including assisting patients with mobility challenges.
