Responsibilities- Provide High-Quality Patient Care: Deliver comprehensive and compassionate care to patients with complex neurological conditions, including ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes, brain tumors, epilepsy, and other neurodegenerative illnesses.
- Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Team: Work closely with surgeons, medical physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Participate in Performance Improvement: Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and participate in ongoing education and training to enhance patient outcomes and unit performance.
- Develop and Maintain Strong Relationships: Build trust and rapport with patients, families, and colleagues to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
- Stay Current with Best Practices: Stay up-to-date with the latest research, technologies, and evidence-based practices in neuroscience nursing to provide the highest level of care.
- Education: Graduation from a school of professional nursing.
- Licensure/Certification: Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina. Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification.
- Experience: One (1) year of relevant and current experience in neuroscience nursing or a related field.
- Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
- Competitive Salary: $44.56 per hour (Hiring Range)
- Uncapped Overtime: Exempt from overtime
