Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse II to join our team at UNC Health. As a Clinical Nurse II, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with our interdisciplinary team to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide competent clinical nursing care to patients with complex problems, including physical, psychosocial, educational, and safety aspects of care.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of patient care plans, including identifying expected patient outcomes and seeking guidance as needed.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to evaluate patient care and communicate relevant information to promote continuity of care.
  • Utilize healthcare organization and nursing standards, policies, and procedures in the delivery of care.
  • Organize and prioritize care according to patient/family needs and consult with appropriate resources as needed.
Requirements
  • Graduation from a school of professional nursing.
  • Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification.
  • One (1) year of nursing experience.
