Physical Therapist

Crescent City Schools is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team as a Part-Time School Network Physical Therapist. This role will impact students' lives by providing physical therapy services in a school setting.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement individualized physical therapy plans for students with diverse needs
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive support
- Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments to identify areas of need
- Design and implement interventions to promote physical function and mobility
- Communicate effectively with students, families, and staff to ensure seamless care
- Maintain accurate records and progress notes to track student progress
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities to stay current on best practices
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program with current Louisiana licensure
- Ability to travel to multiple school campuses
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience working with students with autism, developmental delay, and specific learning disabilities
- Commitment to meeting the needs of a diverse student population
- Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, kneel, crouch, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds
