Product Engineer Job Description

Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics is seeking a highly skilled Product Engineer to join our team in Swords, Dublin. As a Product Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering technical support to the manufacturing and testing of medical device instrumentation in a low volume, high complexity and regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver technical solutions to enhance product reliability and process capability.
  • Work within a dynamic engineering change environment; actively supporting New Product Introductions and engineering design change activities.
  • Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing operations, quality, procurement and logistics to deliver product and supply base improvements to meet business needs.
  • Initiate and project manage product and process change activities, technology transfers while assuring continuity of supply.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (QQI level 8) with minimum of 3 years relevant experience.
  • Strong manufacturing, mechanical/ electro mechanical / systems design skillset.
  • Knowledge or experience with programming languages LabVIEW and Python (C, C++ and C# are a plus).
  • Experience with Test method characterization and Test method validation; Supported by statistical knowledge.
