Responsibilities:- Verify that received materials meet the specified requirements on purchase orders, drawings, and/or specifications.
- Approve or reject items and record inspection disposition information.
- Verify that assembled printed circuit boards, cables, and mechanical assemblies meet the specified requirements on drawings, parts lists, or specifications.
- Review traveler, inspection record, missing material report, and closing transfer for completeness and accuracy.
- Verify that assembly workmanship complies with approved workmanship standards and/or specifications.
- Maintain files necessary to provide documentation of assembly, inspection, and test of completed assemblies.
- Assist assemblers and inspectors to identify components/hardware.
- Read and interpret assembly drawings, specifications, and standards.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associates Degree preferred.
- Minimum one-year technical experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably including visual inspection.
- Knowledge in IPC workmanship standards.
- Familiarity with rulers, pin gauges, micrometers, and calipers.
- Basic computer skills required.
- Excellent written and verbal skills are required.
- Ability to read/interpret assembly drawings, specifications, and standards.
- Ability to recognize component marking and symbols.
- Ability to work with limited supervision.
