About the Role

Piper Companies is seeking an IT Systems Analyst to join a client that is a leading investment management and solutions company. This is a direct placement role with a hybrid on-site requirement of 3 days per week.

Key Responsibilities
  • Gather and Document Requirements: Collect and document requirements for various projects, primarily data-focused.
  • Produce Scoping Documents: Create scoping documents, use cases, technical specs, source-to-target mapping documents, report requirements, and other relevant documents.
  • Translate Business Needs: Translate business units' needs into technical requirements for the development team.
  • Coordinate Meetings: Coordinate and facilitate meetings with technical and business resources, external teams, and vendors.
  • Requirements Definition and Documentation: Define and document requirements, systems analysis, design, system integration, user acceptance testing, and deployment coordination.
  • Communication and Reporting: Create written communication materials that summarize findings and support recommendations, and translate data results into written reports, tables, graphs, and charts.
Qualifications
  • Experience in Business Analysis: 5+ years' experience in a business analyst role, documenting business and technical requirements.
  • Data Warehouse Experience: Experience with data warehouse projects is required.
  • Project Management: Experience with project management, including coordinating and facilitating meetings, is desired.
  • Product Ownership: Experience as a product owner or strong desire to own efforts is preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Expertise and fluency in SQL is required, and experience with Tableau, Python, and reporting services is also required.
  • Domain Knowledge: Domain knowledge of asset management and mutual funds is a plus.
Compensation
  • Salary Range: $105,000 - $135,000
  • Bonus and Incentives: Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition.
