Job Title: Senior Data Scientist

Job Type: Contract

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist with 15+ years of experience to lead our geospatial data solutions team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Google BigTable, AWS Machine Learning, Docker, Kubernetes, and MongoDB.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leverage geospatial data to drive business insights and solutions.
  • Contribute to the company's mission of innovation and societal impact.
  • Lead the development and implementation of geospatial data solutions using Google BigTable and AWS Machine Learning.
  • Oversee the integration of Docker and Kubernetes for efficient deployment and management of geospatial applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and optimize geospatial data models.
  • Ensure the accuracy and reliability of geospatial data through rigorous testing and validation.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for geospatial data processes and workflows.
  • Implement best practices for data security and privacy in geospatial applications.
  • Conduct performance tuning and optimization of geospatial data queries and processes.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on geospatial data projects.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand their geospatial data needs and deliver actionable insights.
  • Contribute to the development of geospatial data standards and policies within the organization.
  • Drive innovation by exploring new geospatial data sources and analytical techniques.

Requirements:

  • 15+ years of experience in data science and geospatial data solutions.
  • Extensive experience in Google BigTable, AWS Machine Learning, Docker, Kubernetes, and MongoDB.
  • Deep understanding of geospatial data and its applications.
  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to mentor and guide junior engineers.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
