  • Ensure compliance with mechanical functional and physical allocations, changes, and requirements throughout the Space Vehicle design process.
  • Coordinate and/or execute mechanical integration tasks such as mass properties management, propulsion and mass budgets, structural and thermal analyses, and configuration control.
  • Support the Systems Engineering and Integration Testing (SEIT) organization in planning and executing mechanical integration testing from subsystem to Space Vehicle level.

  • Lead or participate in engineering review boards and change control boards to ensure mechanical impacts are addressed across the Space Vehicle.
  • Contribute to the creation and delivery of customer-required documentation.
  • Demonstrate the ability to lead diverse technical teams across both internal and subcontractor efforts.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 9 years of relevant experience, or a Graduate Degree with at least 7 years of related experience. Alternatively, a minimum of 13 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.

  • Experienced in mechanical requirements validation and milestone criteria.
  • Familiar with mechanical integration planning involving multiple hardware solutions.
  • Knowledgeable in drafting Statements of Work for suppliers.
  • Familiarity with mechanical engineering processes and digital engineering tools.
  • Ability to make informed decisions balancing technical, cost, and schedule considerations.
  • Strong history of leading integration and testing teams through all phases of space programs.
  • Experience in mentoring and developing technical staff.
