Job Title: Software Developer in Test

Syms Strategic Group, LLC (SSG) is seeking a highly skilled Software Developer in Test to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing test automation strategies, creating automation test plans, and executing automated tests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement test automation strategies to ensure high-quality software delivery
  • Create and maintain automation test plans and test cases
  • Develop and execute automated tests using Selenium and other tools
  • Collaborate with engineering and QA teams to improve the development pipeline
  • Perform and write automated functional, system, regression, and integration testing
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software/Systems Engineering, or equivalent technical degree
  • 8+ years of experience in automated software development and testing
  • Experience with Java, C#, or Python development
  • Experience with Selenium and other automation tools
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with EDI and financial transaction systems
  • Experience testing MUMPS, VistA, and other VA systems
Security Clearance Requirements:

Must possess or qualify for a Public Trust (MBI) security clearance
