Job Description

Belay Technologies is a leading provider of technology and engineering solutions to the DoD and commercial markets. We are seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer to join our intel team.

The selected candidate will collaborate as a Cloud Development Engineer within a fast-paced and highly visible team environment of system administrators, software developers, and a help desk. Key responsibilities include:

  • Identifying opportunities to upgrade or modify sustainment systems
  • Implementing necessary changes for operational effectiveness and responsiveness
  • Conducting requirements analysis for ongoing and upcoming software projects
  • Undertaking software development tasks, including design and coding
  • Integrating new components into existing systems
  • Continuously evaluating and assessing system performance
  • Contributing to the enhancement and maintenance of existing systems
  • Addressing issues and ensuring the ongoing reliability of systems
  • Participating in testing processes to validate the functionality and performance of developed software

Candidates should have the following qualifications:

  • TS/SCI Clearance with polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree in an IT field and six (6) years of experience in software development/engineering
  • Ten (10) years of software development experience can be substituted in lieu of a degree
  • Four (4) years of experience in software development on systems utilizing cloud-related technologies
  • Proficient in Java development within cloud environments
  • Experience developing and updating technical documentation
  • Skilled in problem solving and troubleshooting computer systems and software
  • Experience with agile development methodologies
  • Experience managing systems hosted in virtual environments such as AWS

Candidates are desired to have the following skills:

  • Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite including Confluence & Jira
  • Experience with IBM Sterling and/or Oracle

Belay Technologies offers a competitive total compensation package that includes benefits and perks, a flexible work-life balance, and career development. Salary Range: $70,000 to $190,000.
