RN Unit Manager

Floral Long Term Care is seeking a skilled RN Unit Manager to oversee the daily operations of our nursing unit. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality resident care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of nursing staff assigned to the day shift.
- Communicate and apply policies, practices, procedures, objectives, and goals necessary for attainment of excellent resident care.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for residents and staff.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Monitor and report any changes in resident condition or concerns.
Requirements:
- Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in New York State.
- Experience in Long Term Care Nursing or acute care experience.
- Possess clinical knowledge and skill in nursing practices and regulatory standards.
- Able to function both under supervision and independently.
- Able to communicate tactfully and effectively with physicians, supervisors, staff, and other disciplines.
