Key Responsibilities:
- Perform MRI procedures to capture detailed images of patients' internal structures, ensuring diagnostic precision.
- Operate MRI equipment, positioning patients accurately and acquiring images while adhering to strict patient safety protocols.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to review MRI images for diagnostic quality and treatment planning.
- Provide patients with clear explanations of procedures, addressing concerns to help them feel at ease and informed.
- Maintain MRI equipment, regularly inspecting, maintaining, and troubleshooting machines to ensure optimal functionality and compliance with safety regulations.
- Accurately record patient information and imaging results in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
- Adhere to safety regulations, following all safety guidelines, infection control practices, and equipment standards to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or MRI program.
- Experience: Previous MRI Technologist experience is preferred; however, new graduates are welcome to apply.
- Certification: MRI Technologist certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or equivalent.
- State Licensure: Must hold state licensure (if applicable).
- CPR/BLS: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
