Job Summary

Cleaver-Brooks Sales and Service, Inc. is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Operations Manager to join our team in Lincoln, NE. This role is responsible for overseeing the overall management of materials, including planning, control, and movement. The successful candidate will develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient operation of material control, production planning, shipping, and purchasing activities.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management, with at least 8-10 years of experience in similar roles. A Bachelor's Degree is preferred, and the ability to travel regularly is required. Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct management of four functional areas of the Materials Department: Production Planning, Material Control, Shipping, and Purchasing.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient operation of material control, production planning, shipping, and purchasing activities.
  • Work with the Master Scheduler to develop the Master Production Schedule based on the Production Plan and within the constraints of manufacturing capacities, available manpower, delivery dates, etc.
  • Direct Material Planning in procuring required material, informing Purchasing of needs, and ensuring Engineering Changes are incorporated in plans.
  • Meet regularly with company management to discuss and resolve problems involving production scheduling, engineering, manufacturing, shipping, employee relations, etc.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • At least 8-10 years of experience in similar supply chain management roles.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop others.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel regularly, with occasional overnight stays.
