About the Job:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at New Hanover Regional Medical Center's Medicine II unit. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment where you can utilize your clinical skills and expertise to make a real difference in the lives of our patients.

Estimated Compensation:

The estimated salary for this role is $45,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing patients' conditions and health needs, developing and implementing nursing care plans, administering medications and treatments prescribed by physicians, facilitating skill development and knowledge sharing among staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and open communication with other healthcare professionals, educating patients and their families about medical conditions, treatments, and preventive care measures, and advocating for patients' rights and coordinating their care within the healthcare system.

Qualifications:
  • Associate degree in nursing
  • Current valid North Carolina Nursing License or Multi-State/Compact
  • Commitment to continuous growth and development
  • Enthusiastic attitude towards teaching and mentorship
  • One-year relevant experience, preferred
