Director of Healthcare Design

We are looking for an accomplished Sr. Principal to lead our healthcare design studio. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled leader who can drive innovation, build strong client relationships, and guide our team to deliver high-quality projects.
About the Job:
- Direct and oversee large-scale healthcare projects from concept to completion, ensuring the highest quality of design and delivery.
- Serve as the primary liaison for clients, building lasting relationships and driving new business opportunities.
- Manage multiple projects and teams, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and overall performance metrics.
- Play an integral part in developing studio-wide initiatives and contributing to strategic firm growth.
- Mentor and inspire team members, promoting professional development and technical excellence.
- Work collaboratively with project stakeholders and regulatory agencies to meet healthcare standards, including HCAi/OSHPD requirements.
- Represent the studio at industry events and contribute to thought leadership through articles and presentations.
Key Qualifications:
- Experience: 15+ years in an architecture or engineering firm, with a strong background in healthcare projects.
- Credentials: California Registered Architect and/or NCARB certification preferred.
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated experience as a Director, Associate Principal, or Principal, with proven capabilities in project oversight, team leadership, and client engagement.
- Technical Expertise: Deep familiarity with healthcare design standards, HCAi/OSHPD regulations, and management of high-profile projects.
- Business Acumen: Strong network within the healthcare sector, adept at securing new projects and driving business development.
- Communication: Exceptional presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills for client interaction and team collaboration.
Salary and Benefits:
