Sales Representative

At Foxworth-Galbraith Lumber Company, we are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Inside Sales Representative to join our team. As an Inside Sales Representative, you will play a critical role in assisting with new and existing customer sales, providing product support to outside sales representatives, and delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:- Respond to customer inquiries regarding product selection, placement of orders, prices, and quotations, complaints, and scheduling of deliveries and installations.
- Initiate telephone calls to customers to generate sales and build relationships.
- Obtain orders from customers and sales representatives, enter work orders, credit returns, return authorizations, pick tickets, and service requests, and file paperwork accordingly.
- Coordinate purchase and delivery of special products, obtaining information on pricing specifications, uses, and availability.
- Manage schedules for projects by coordinating with outside sales, jobsites, and assigned customers.
- Maintain stock levels on the sales floor and in the stockroom.
- Research credits, returns, and late payments as needed.
- Check on back orders and resolve any outstanding issues, solve billing problems, and compile data for closing.
- Handle special orders and advanced pricing, assist with pricing and special price lists.
- Develop and grow professional relationships with customers.
- Resolve jobsite issues and customer problems.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 1-3 years in the building material industry with basic knowledge of product and application required.
- 1-3 years inside sales experience preferred.
