Industrial Engineering Internship Opportunity

The Starbucks Industrial Engineering Internship is a paid, full-time, 12-week program designed to provide students with an opportunity to gain meaningful work experience in a field of interest and expertise within the Starbucks Industrial Engineering team. Roles will be based out of the Seattle Support Center in Seattle, WA.
Key Responsibilities- Assess the benefits of engineering technology and methods changes to operations.
- Apply logic in problem-solving and analysis of alternatives to assess the financial and operations impact of business initiatives.
- Develop and implement processes to measure, analyze, and improve equipment, station, engine, and holistic store performance.
- Oversee detailed root cause analysis of bottlenecks in retail store production.
- Contribute to program development, store layout optimization, store engine redesign, schematics reviews, design studio/field ops support, ops lab testing, data collection and analysis, design of experiments, and human-centered design.
- Active enrollment in an accredited college or university pursuing a bachelor's degree.
- Ability to work full-time from June – early September 2025.
- Eligibility to work in the United States.
