Job Opportunity

Cole Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Sediment Management Lead to join our team.

This role involves leading initiatives related to navigation sediment management, contaminated sediment remediation, and sediment challenges in port development and infrastructure.

As a Sediment Management Lead, you will be responsible for:

  • Project management and coordination
  • Developing data quality objectives, field sampling plans, and quality assurance plans
  • Analyzing chemical and biological data
  • Preparing and reviewing required environmental permits
  • Evaluating dredged material disposal options, remedial alternatives, and potential for ecosystem restoration
  • Preparing MPRSA Section 103 evaluations and other ecotoxicological evaluations
  • Developing cost estimates to support proposals
  • Regulatory oversight and client management
  • Technical proposal development and mentoring early and mid-career staff

Requirements:

  • M.S. degree and a minimum of 10 years of progressively increasing responsibility and experience in sediment client management
  • A deep commitment to supporting clients
  • Extensive knowledge of sediment fundamentals
  • Strong desire to lead and mentor staff
  • Proven history of building strong working relationships with clients
  • Valid US work authorization
