Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Director to lead our maintenance team at Avamere Rehabilitation of Park West in Seattle, Washington. The ideal candidate will have experience in facility management and be able to ensure the smooth operation of the facility.

**Responsibilities:**
  • Perform routine maintenance on grounds, parking areas, driveways, etc.
  • Oversee Housekeeping & Laundry personnel.
  • Conduct plumbing, plastering, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical work.
  • Replace bulbs, clean windows, and assist others in lifting heavy equipment and supplies.
  • Service heating and cooling units/systems.
  • Coordinate daily maintenance services with nursing services when performing routine assignments in resident living areas.

Qualifications: A High School Diploma or equivalent and 1 year of maintenance supervisory experience within a Skilled Nursing Facility. Knowledgeable of maintenance practices, procedures, building codes, and safety regulations. Familiar with maintenance of a building such as a nursing home, apartment complex, or business facility. Able to minimize waste of supplies and misuse of equipment. Maintain confidentiality of all resident care information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.

Estimated Salary Range: $35/hour - $40/hour (depending on experience)
