Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Program Director, LEAD to join our team at Community Passageways. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to lead our LEAD program, which provides critical support services to individuals experiencing homelessness and substance use disorders in King County.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing operations to support services for clients with behavioral health conditions living in extreme poverty and involved in the criminal justice system. This includes managing a team of staff members, developing and implementing harm reduction strategies, and ensuring seamless collaboration with external stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations of the LEAD program, including managing a team of case managers and screening coordinators
  • Develop and implement harm reduction strategies to address the complex needs of clients
  • Collaborate with community partners, law enforcement, and prosecutors to ensure effective service delivery
  • Manage program budgets, finances, and data collection
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to agency guidelines
Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess:

  • A master's degree in social work or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • At least 3 years of experience in a leadership position, preferably in a clinical setting
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to navigate and work effectively within the criminal justice system
  • Current Washington State driver's license and reliable vehicle
Salary and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $90,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience. Community Passageways offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, paid time off, and professional development opportunities.
