The ideal candidate will be a proactive professional capable of recognizing and pursuing sales opportunities, offering technical guidance to clients, and delivering outstanding customer service.
Core Responsibilities:
Business Development:
· Identify and engage potential clients across various sectors including automotive, aerospace, medical, and manufacturing.
· Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to meet sales objectives and broaden the customer base.
· Conduct market analysis to uncover new business prospects and stay informed about industry developments.
Client Relationship Management:
· Establish and nurture strong relationships with both new and existing clients.
· Perform regular visits to client locations to assess their needs and provide customized solutions.
· Offer technical assistance and expertise to clients, addressing their machining needs and specifications.
Proposal and Quotation Management:
· Create and present comprehensive scope documents to the All-Tec Contracts Department for budgeting and quoting purposes.
· Negotiate terms and pricing to secure advantageous agreements.
· Follow up on quotes and proposals to finalize sales.
Collaboration and Communication:
· Collaborate closely with internal engineering and production teams to fulfill client requirements.
· Relay client feedback and market insights to the management team.
· Participate in regular sales meetings, providing updates on sales activities and pipeline status.
Pricing and Quoting:
· Work alongside management to deliver accurate and competitive pricing based on client specifications.
· Negotiate terms and pricing to finalize sales agreements.
· Ensure that pricing and contract conditions comply with company policies.
Documentation and Reporting:
· Maintain precise records of sales activities, client interactions, and sales pipeline using Zoho CRM software.
· Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management review.
· Ensure all client information and sales documentation are current.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- 3-5 years of experience in outside sales, ideally within the manufacturing or machining sector.
- Strong technical background with knowledge of precision machining processes and equipment.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and fostering business growth.
- Willingness to travel frequently to meet clients and attend industry events.
