Job Title: CNC Machinist

Autocam Medical is a leading contract manufacturer of orthopedic implants, spinal implants, and precision instruments. We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team and contribute to the production of high-quality medical devices.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Set up and operate single and/or multiple spindle machines to produce orthopedic implants and other medical devices.
  • Monitor and control the quality of machining processes using process control tools and maintain production processes to meet established quality standards and efficiencies.
  • Read part prints and job orders to ensure accurate production of medical devices, including dimensions, tolerances, inspection, and tooling instructions.
  • Use machine controls to cycle machines through production operations, set up, and adjust tool positions, and change tools as needed.
  • Perform first-piece sample inspection according to the operation control plan and monitor part dimensions using qualified measuring devices.
  • Maintain all lubricants and coolants, and other operator maintenance, on the machine used in daily operation.
  • Perform data collection and communication tasks in MRP system (Epicor) and other applications.
  • Keep work area clean and organized and participate in continuous improvement activities.
Requirements:
  • Ability to work on feet for 10-12 hours per day and handle or feel objects, tools, or controls.
  • Ability to frequently walk, sit, stoop, kneel, or crouch and lift and move up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and meet production deadlines.
