Job Summary:

Collin College is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrician Master to join our team. As a key member of our facilities department, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems across our campuses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the work of electrical journeymen and apprentices to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Develop and implement electrical maintenance and repair schedules to minimize downtime and ensure optimal system performance.
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify and address electrical system issues and implement solutions.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior staff members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.

Requirements:

  • Master Electrician license required.
  • 3+ years of experience in electrical maintenance and repair.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including circuit analysis and troubleshooting.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Working Conditions:

This is a full-time position that requires regular attendance and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be required to work a standard 40-hour week, with occasional overtime as needed.
