Detailed Job Description
As a part-time Registered Dietitian with HCSG, you will be responsible for providing expert nutritional guidance and support to residents, families, and staff at one of our long-term care facilities. Your primary duties will include assessing residents' nutritional needs, developing personalized meal plans, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to optimize residents' health outcomes.
Main Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments of residents' nutritional needs and develop customized meal plans
- Guarantee adherence to federal, state, and local laws and regulations regarding nutrition care
- Maintain accurate records of residents' nutritional status and progress
- Deliver comprehensive nutrition education and counseling to residents, families, and staff
- Partner with interdisciplinary teams to design and implement effective care plans
Necessary Qualifications and Skills
Master's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field; registration by the Commission on Dietetic Registration; valid driver's license (for multi-site dietitians); excellent communication and organizational skills.
