Detailed Job Description
As a part-time Registered Dietitian with HCSG, you will be responsible for providing expert nutritional guidance and support to residents, families, and staff at one of our long-term care facilities. Your primary duties will include assessing residents' nutritional needs, developing personalized meal plans, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to optimize residents' health outcomes.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Conduct thorough assessments of residents' nutritional needs and develop customized meal plans
  2. Guarantee adherence to federal, state, and local laws and regulations regarding nutrition care
  3. Maintain accurate records of residents' nutritional status and progress
  4. Deliver comprehensive nutrition education and counseling to residents, families, and staff
  5. Partner with interdisciplinary teams to design and implement effective care plans

Necessary Qualifications and Skills
Master's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field; registration by the Commission on Dietetic Registration; valid driver's license (for multi-site dietitians); excellent communication and organizational skills.
