The Broker Relations Representative plays a vital role in facilitating professional relationships with insurance agents and agency partners. As the primary point of contact for operational support, this individual will provide prompt and professional communication through various channels, including electronic communication, in-person meetings, phone calls, and online chat.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Service: Provide best-in-class customer service focused on prompt and accurate resolutions.
- Documentation: Accurately document communications and actions in Salesforce.
- Research and Resolution: Research and resolve commission discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Reporting: Create and track commission audit reports in Excel.
- Data Management: Update internal systems with necessary data.
- Agent Support: Assist agents through the release and transfer process.
- Industry Knowledge: Learn and stay current on Medicare insurance, compliance requirements, and agent contracting and certification processes.
- Confidentiality: Strict adherence to all HIPAA and PHI guidelines.
- Program Understanding: Understand AGA's Leads, Co-Op, and Marketing programs.
- System Navigation: Help agents navigate various internal systems, including online portals and self-service options.
- Communication Skills: Professional communication skills, written and verbal.
- Technical Skills: Proficient user of Microsoft Office programs, specifically Excel.
- Mathematical Skills: Mathematically competent with strong data research skills.
- Attention to Detail: Attention to detail, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks and objectives.
- Digital Record Keeping: Experience maintaining digital records in a paperless environment.
- Data Entry and Workflow Management: Experience with data entry, workflow management systems, and web-based contact center applications.
- Creative Problem-Solving: Creative problem-solving skills and adaptability to changing business needs.
- Industry Experience: Experience in managed health care, Medicare, Life & Annuity, or ACA products.
- Travel: Minimal travel may be requested based on business needs.
