About the Role:
The Salon Manager is a key member of our team, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our salon. This includes managing staff, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead by example, demonstrating exceptional customer service skills and resolving challenges with professionalism.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and improve customer satisfaction.
- Recruit, train, and mentor staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
- Manage salon inventory, including ordering supplies and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Monitor and maintain accurate records of sales, customer interactions, and staff performance.
- Collaborate with other salon managers to share best practices and improve overall performance.
Requirements:
- Current cosmetology or barber license as required by state regulations.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to lift, bend, and perform repetitive movements, occasionally lifting 10-25 lbs.
